This policy explains how STRYDLY collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when you access or use our website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
STRYDLY (“STRYDLY,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Bonilla Holdings, LLC (DBA STRYDLY). We do not sell personal information.
1. Who this policy applies to
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of STRYDLY, including:
- Individual runners
- Run club members and administrators
- Event organizers and pacers
- Organizations, partners, and institutions
2. Information we collect
Account and profile information
- Name, email address, and account identifiers
- Profile details you choose to provide
- Club, organization, or role affiliations
Activity and participation data
- Event registrations and attendance
- QR check-ins and participation records
- Activity feed records and engagement signals
Location data
With your permission, STRYDLY may collect location data to support features such as live sessions, route visualization, and activity summaries. Location collection is optional and can be enabled or disabled through your device settings.
Device and usage information
- Device type, operating system, and app version
- Crash reports, diagnostics, and performance data
- General usage analytics
Wearables and third-party integrations (including Garmin)
If you connect STRYDLY with third-party services (such as Garmin or other wearable platforms), we may receive activity or summary data according to the permissions you grant. STRYDLY does not access third-party data until you explicitly authorize the integration.
If you connect Garmin, STRYDLY may access Garmin data that you authorize (for example: activity summaries and permitted activity metrics such as time, distance, pace, elevation, and heart rate). We use this data only to provide STRYDLY features you request, such as syncing an activity into STRYDLY, displaying activity summaries, and supporting verification/integrity signals.
- Purpose limitation: Garmin data is used only for STRYDLY functionality disclosed to you.
- No sale of data: We do not sell Garmin data or personal information.
- Access control: We request least-privilege access and only for features you enable.
- Revocation: You can disconnect Garmin at any time; after revocation we stop accessing new Garmin data.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Operate and maintain the STRYDLY platform
- Enable events, live sessions, and participation features
- Sync and display activities you choose to connect
- Improve reliability, performance, and user experience
- Provide support, updates, and service communications
- Develop trust and verification signals
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
5. Data visibility and controls
Certain information may be visible to other users depending on your role, participation, and settings (for example, event attendance or live session context). You may control visibility and permissions through in-app settings where available.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary to operate the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and support legitimate business purposes. If you request deletion, we delete or anonymize data as described below.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- Access or update your personal information
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Withdraw consent for optional data collection
- Opt out of non-essential communications
Data deletion requests
You can request deletion using our public process at strydly.app/signin/data-deletion.html. Requests may require verification to protect account security. Typical processing time is 7 business days.
Disconnecting Garmin or other integrations
You can revoke access through the third-party platform’s settings (for example, Garmin Connect). After revocation, STRYDLY stops accessing new data from that integration. To delete data already stored in STRYDLY, submit a deletion request.
8. Security
STRYDLY uses industry-standard security practices to protect data, including secure infrastructure and access controls. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s privacy
STRYDLY is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by law in your jurisdiction).
10. International users
Your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of STRYDLY after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
